Thank you so much! I am just now making time to get into paper crafting, so am collecting basics. I googled how to make my own anti static bag, and lo and behold, there your link was!

I appreciate it very much. I wondered if a dryer softener sheet would work, but I have a couple bottles of Baby ‘cornstarch’ that I can try with an old nylon!

lol I’ve been using the baby powder off and on over the years when I couldn’t find my official talc anti static bag. It has something to do with whats in the powder. The store bought one is a better version because it is pure, where the baby powder has other stuff added.. So that is the price difference, as with most “art supplies”.. Doesn’t matter on the panty hose, just as long as it will hold enough of the powder. I made mine three layers so that it held the powder, but when you tap it on the paper it would still poof.. Think of whacking a chalk eraser and how the dust would fly… lol.. Have fun! and I’m glad I posted this for you to find! do come back and check out my other posts.

Okay, LOVE the anti Static Bag. my only question is how did you know to use baby powder??? How does it work?? You do realize I’m typing this and picking through a sack of old hose! Does it matter which type of panty hose? Will the extra hold everything inside work ok (obviously they did not hold everything inside) or can they be the old, old stockings (old because I can’t wear them anymore!) ? PLEASE get back to me on this. I’m so jazzed that you have this!!! If this is all it is??? Why are they charging so much for them??? Urrggghhh!!!
