Her is a Video for How to Make a Sugar Skull Planner Clip:

I joined a planner clip swap and wanted to make a variety of different clips. Since I got the Sugar Skull set from Fleurette Bloom Designs I thought it would be a perfect planner clip embellishment.

When the girl I swapped with posted a photo of the clips lots of people commented on the Sugar Skull and how much they liked how it turned out.

It’s amazing what a few supplies put together can create. I had fun making this planner clip or altered paper clip. It was a great way for me to use up some of those paper flowers in my stash too! With the Sugar Skull stamp, there are so many coloring options.

Making Planner Clips is a great gift item too. Add one or more to a greeting card. Can even make it the focal point on a greeting card that the giftee can then use to brighten their journal or anything where the clip can be attached.

Are you looking for party favors or small gifts? These would be a great small item to give out to a lot of people. This could also be a great party project. Stamp out the Sugar Skulls and lay out markers etc to color. Then have small bowls or bins of flowers and ribbons to embellish. Now wouldn’t’ that be a fun party?

Planner Clip Swap with Vanessa Garcia of Savvy Planners

These clips don’t have to be used in a planner, these can be used as bookmarks or to hold papers together. This time these were made for Planners. 🙂

Here is a video of my opening up the Planner Clip Swap with Vanessa Garcia of Savvy Planners.

Didn’t she do an awesome job on these little planner clips? I think these are super cute and I’m glad I got to swap with her.

Since we were swapping I did make videos of a few of the clips I sent to her.

This is the Happy Mail & Poodles of Fun Altered Paperclip I made featuring a Poodle! I think this turned out super cute!

The Altered Paper clip with Lawn Fawn Unicorn will publish on March 19th so be on the look out for my post featuring this clip.

Another Planner clip I made is with Brutus Monroe stamps and Chameleon Pens, You are Sharp Altered Paperclip.

There will also be a video for a Sugar Skull Planner clip featuring stamps from Fleurette Bloom Designs and Chameleon Pens.

Making these planner clips was super fun and easy. I like how small these are and can be added to a greeting card.

Do you love planners? Then head over to the Savvy Planners Facebook group and join in the fun. So many creative ladies there that love to share.

What kind of planner clips would you make? Do you have a favorite design that you like? I love the little Leprechaun clip He has so much character! Then I think the second favorite would be the glitter coffee cup! Because I love glitter! The bow is super cute and I think I want to make some of those.

How to make A Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip

Today I’m sharing How to make A Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip. Using Rinea Pink Embossed Foil and Calico Collage Simply Spring Charms Digital paper. Great Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip to add to an art journal, Happy Planner or to mark your place in a book.

How to make A Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip

Supplies used to make a Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip:
Pink Embossed Rinea Foil
Calico Collage Simply Spring Charm Images
Jumbo Paper Clips
Two Pink Card stock scraps cut at 1 inch square
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Picked Raspberry
Brutus Monroe Detail Ink
Prima Flowers in Pink
Pink Yarn
Tulip Glitter paint
Aleene’s White Glue

How to make A Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip

Using a scrap of Pink Embossed Rinea Foil, cut to 1.5 in. x 3 in. Fold in half then slide through the closed side of the paper clip. Adhere with Aleene’s White Glue.

Apply Tim Holtz Distress Ink Picked Raspberry to the edges of the 1 inch Pink Square card stock scraps.

Select two Calico Collage Simply Spring Charm Images and cut from collage sheet. Add Brutus Monroe Detail Ink around the edges. This will hide the white edge where the paper was cut.

Adhere the Simply Spring Charm Image to Pink Square and then to Rinea Foil with Aleene’s White Glue.

Select three pink flowers and glue in place on the lower left corner of image. Add drops of glitter glue to centers of flowers.

Tie bow with pink yarn and adhere to right side of image.

Once the glitter glue has dried repeat on the other side of Rinea Foil.

Here is a video of How to make A Simply Spring Embellished Paperclip.

I love how these turned out. This is a great way to use up scraps of paper and add a pretty embellishment to projects. My plan is to make more of these and give as gifts inside greeting cards.

A few of these will end up in my Happy Planner to mark pages and to just look pretty.
