Here is another video from the Fairy Garden Junk Journal I’ve been working on. This is the Fairy Garden Altered Paperclip and Tuck Spot I created for the journal. I created these as kits for a workshop and it seemed to go over nicely. They liked that I had all the elements picked out and ready to go. Being organized while creating junk journals really makes it so much easier.
The supplies used in making the Fairy Garden Altered Paperclip and Tuck Spot.
- Fairy Garden Domino images from Calico Collage
- Journal Kit – Fairy Garden from Calico Collage – For the journal cards and the small strip used on the ticket.
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
- Tim Holtz Distress ink, Vintage Photo
- Ranger Ink Blending Tool
- Vintage Photo Reinker
- Die cut shapes, Heart, EK Sucess Real Estate Sign Punch, words created inside Silhouette Software and cut on Silhouette Cameo 3.
- Eyelash Yarn
- 7gypsies blank ticket shape
- Paper flowers
- Fiskar Scissors
Here is the tutorial video showing how to make the Fairy Garden Altered Paperclip and Tuck Spot.
Once the images are printed and trimmed down to size use Vintage Photo around the edges. Apply vintage photo to the edges of the ticket, label heart and words.
Use a glue stick to adhere the domino image and the floral image. Snip a piece of eyelash yarn and place it on the images and then use Aleene’s Tacky glue to adhere the words and heart.
Add the flowers and that completes the Fairy Garden Altered Paperclip and Tuck Spot.
If you don’t have the tools to make the shapes, find things around the home to use as a template and hand cut the shapes. This is what I did for years until I got the cutting tools.
Keeping following along to see more of the elements used in the Fairy Garden Junk Journal I’ve made.
