Using one of the belly band strips for the right side of the page is a handy way to hold a journal card. The journal card was made from handmade paper. I have a <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/gPyrao5VUcE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handmade paper tutorial video<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/2021\/06\/10\/handmade-paper-tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check out the blog,<\/a> that shows my process. Even when I made the pocket in error for another project I was able to save it and use it here! Don&#8217;t throw it out if you feel you made a mistake. It is an opportunity to try something new!<\/p>\n<p>Change up that book page by adding distress inks.
