I&#8217;ve been working on Christmas decorations and one of the last pieces was making little fancy reindeer.<\/p>\n<p>The reindeer started off as Christmas tree ornaments. I knew that these would be perfect for my little scene that I&#8217;m making. First thing that needed to be done was cutting off the ornament hanger that was on the back. This was easy enough. Using a pair of needle nose pliers I gently broke the piece off.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1843\" src=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"How I made Fancy Reindeer\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-600x337.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-350x197.jpg 350w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-5-Close-up.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Breaking the piece off of the back left a scar on the reindeer. This wasn&#8217;t a pretty site so there needed to be something added to make it look better. So taking a little hot glue I applied a little on the back of the reindeer and then sprinkled fine gold glitter on the back. So that the whole reindeer would match I added glitter on the head of the reindeer too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1842\" src=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"How I made Fancy Reindeer\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-600x337.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-350x197.jpg 350w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Reindeer-Image-3.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>More needed to be added to this little reindeer to transform it into its new fancy self. Digging through my stash I found small jingle bells. These were another perfect addition. Using thin gold metallic ribbon I threaded one jingle bell on the ribbon and then around the neck of the reindeer. Tying a bow fished the look.<\/p>\n<p>Something else was needed on the reindeer. There was a piece of the embossed green <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rinea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rinea Foil<\/a> on my desk. Using a holy leaf punch from Punch Bunch I punched a leaf. Now the fancy reindeer was complete.
