Today I’m sharing my\u00a0Cricut Globe – Let it Snow project for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Challenge #293 – Snow<\/a> Sponsored by Pretty Cute Stamps. Challenge this week is to have a snow theme and use at least one Cricut cut in the project.<\/p>\n

What a great time to use a snow globe than this? The globe is from the Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge. It was cut at 4.5 in. tall. The top most layer was removed as I wanted to stamp on the top layer and not have holes cut through the image.<\/p>\n

Used Brutus Monroe snowflake stamps from the Oh Deer<\/a> set. Stamped in Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Tumbled Glass\u00a0and Brutus Monroe Ink Cornflower<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brutus Monroe Stamp Set Oh Deer<\/a> was used. This little fat deer makes me laugh every time I see him. Stamped with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink – Raven<\/a> on a scrap of white card stock and then fussy cut. Water colored with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist – Cork, Tattered Leather and It’s Black. Also used White High Impact paint by Tattered Angels.<\/p>\n

VersaMark Stamp pad was mashed onto Deer image and snow globe then Ranger Clear Holographic embossing powder was applied and heat set. This gives the appearance of being inside a snow globe.<\/p>\n

Let it Snow from Printworks Stamps was stamped in Brutus Monroe Embossing ink<\/a>, embossed with black embossing powder.<\/p>\n

Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Brushed Corduroy applied to base of the snow globe.<\/p>\n

Cut white card stock at 4 in. x 5.25 emboss with Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. Use Tim Holtz Disressed Ink Tumbled Glass and blending tool to add color around the edge. Mash VersaMark stamp pad to embossed image, cover with Ranger Clear Holographic embossing powder, heat set.<\/p>\n

Blue card stock cut at 4.23 in. x 5.47 in. adhered as the first layer on a standard A2 greeting card. Layer Snowflake background. Assemble snow globe and adhere on top of embossed layer. Use pop dots to adhere Deer on top.<\/p>\n
