Being on the CCB Design team we are doing an experiment. For this I decided:\u00a0How to make Mixed Media ATCs with Texture Paste and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists would be a perfect opportunity.<\/p>\n

\"How<\/a><\/p>\n

The idea, Feb 17th is Random Act of Kindness Day. On this day the Canvas Corp Brands (CCB) Crew Members will create works of art and leave these for others to find.<\/p>\n

Each piece of art will have the #CCBRAK written on the art and we will take photos and post to social media. The hope is those that find the works will go on social media and post that the found the items.<\/p>\n

So I decided that I would make\u00a0Mixed Media ATCs with Texture Paste and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Using CCB products.<\/p>\n

Supplies used for the Mixed Media ATCs with Texture Paste and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists
\nBrutus Monroe Detail Ink – Raven<\/a>
\nTim Holtz Butterfly Duo
\nTim Holtz Butterfly embossing folder
\n12 inch Card Stock
\nTexture Paste
\nTim Holtz Stencil
\nCanvas Corp Brands Demask Tissue Paper<\/a>
\nGel Medium
\nTattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Red Chillies<\/a>, Cork<\/a>, Dijon<\/a>, Tattered Leather<\/a>, Iridescent Gold<\/a>
\n7Gypsies American Vintage State Plates Paper Scraps<\/a>
\nCanvas Corp Damask on Kraft Scraps<\/a>
\nAcrylic Paint – Black and Gold
\nJute Twine
\nStamped and Printed words
\nAleene’s White Glue<\/p>\n

The method I took was to start with a large sheet of paper and apply the tissue with Gel Medium. Applied the Texture paste through a couple of stencils. Dried with a\u00a0heat tool.<\/p>\n

Applied\u00a0Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Red Chillies<\/a>, Cork<\/a>, Dijon<\/a>, Tattered Leather<\/a>, Iridescent Gold<\/a>. to paper and to butterflies Dried with a\u00a0heat tool.<\/p>\n

Trim 12 in. sheet to 2.5 in. x 3.5 in. cards. Adhere butterflies with Aleene’s white glue. Add black paint around butterflies, use fingers to blend. Paint a small amount of gold acrylic paint to the butterflies.<\/p>\n

Tie bows with Jute twine, glue with hot glue in the center of the butterflies. Select words for the butterflies spray with Dijon glimmer mists. Edge with\u00a0Brutus Monroe Detail Ink – Raven<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adhere the words on top of the Jute bows. Add backs to cards and edge with\u00a0Brutus Monroe Detail Ink – Raven<\/a>.<\/p>\n
