On Brutus Monroe, Be Unique Bulldog Greeting card<\/a> I made with a cool watercolor background. I love how this card turned out. There is so much personality in that little bulldog. Don’t you want to rock with him?<\/p>\n

This background just brings out the personality in the bulldog. I love being able to create new backgrounds with tools I already have don’t you? Having all the wonderful inks\u00a0pads from Brutus Monroe on hand helped to make this background.<\/p>\n

This can be used for more than today’s\u00a0Be Unique Bulldog Greeting card. \u00a0Think about putting flowers over the top. Choosing a fun saying. There are so many options just keep playing, you will get so many beautiful backgrounds to use.<\/p>\n

The technique for\u00a0Be Unique Bulldog Greeting card.<\/p>\n

On a craft mat smash, a swipe of Rouge<\/a>, Zest<\/a> and Sea<\/a> with a little space between. Spritz these with water.<\/p>\n

Take a piece of watercolor paper and swipe through the colors. Dry with a heat tool for a moment. Apply more color as wanted drying between swipes so that the colors don’t muddy. Love how every time this technique is done it is different.<\/p>\n

Stamp the Bulldog and Be Unique<\/a> phrase with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink – Raven<\/a>. Edge the card with Detail Ink – Raven.<\/p>\n

Mount card top with Aleenes Tacky Glue<\/a>, to a standard A2 card. If the top is still damp lay a large acrylic block on top of the card until it dries. This will keep it from curling.<\/p>\n

This is a super simple card that looks like it took forever to make. I just love playing with this background and seeing how the different colors look behind the stamped images.<\/p>\n
