Any metal items are considered neutral in fashion. When mixing metals I think it adds a beautiful element. Usually, if you go in and show them the project you are making and purchase items from them they will teach you or set you up in a class so you can learn from one of their instructors. This is one of my favorite things to do, search for items. Look at thrift stores at the jewelry items.
