This is the perfect project if you have a bunch of buttons and scraps.<\/h1>\n<p>Begin by cutting the digital images from the sheet. There are twelve images that measure just under 3 x 4. Cut twelve cards 3 x 4 out of cardstock.<\/p>\n<p>Use the distressing tool on the edges of the image and the card. Then apply distress inks to the image and the card.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/?attachment_id=5473\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5473\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5473\" src=\"https:\/\/stage.lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg\" alt=\"Button Card Tutorial\" width=\"6000\" height=\"4000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg 6000w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Button-Card-Tutorial-Image-1a-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 6000px) 100vw, 6000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Adhere the image to the card with ScraPerfect&#8217;s Best Glue Ever using the No-Clog Writing Cap. Sew straight and zigzag stitches around the card alternating the stitches.<\/p>\n<p>Cut a piece of cardstock into a tag shape. Or use a punch to create the tag. Apply distress inks to the edges. Holes for the buttons and a hole for the string on the tag. Sew buttons by hand with needle and thread.<\/p>\n<p>Cut a length of crochet thread and lay it on the distress ink pad. Press the blending tool on top of the thread and pull the thread slowly to apply color. Repeat this process until the thread is the desired color.
