Today I&#8217;m sharing a\u00a0Fall Mixed Media Collaboration Postcard Tutorial. This project was hosted by Bea Grob and four artists in total participated\u00a0as this is an international swap. Begin by selecting a large piece of watercolor paper. This will be a master board style project. Dry with a heat tool or allow to dry naturally. It is a good idea to let each layer dry before applying\u00a0more mediums.<\/p>\n<p>Collage bits of mixed media papers on top of the misted paper. Adhere the bits randomly. Make sure to spread out the pieces on the whole master board so it will have bits when it is cut up.<\/p>\n<p>Apply paint to blend the background to the pasted pieces. Add one color at a time and make sure to dry before applying another color so you don&#8217;t end up with mud.<\/p>\n<p>Cut up the master board int 4 x 6 pieces to be made into postcards. Follow instructions on how to dry leaves. Once the leaves are dry apply Glam to seal the leaves. Apply a small amount to the backside of the leave and let it air dry for a couple of minutes. Then place the leaf on the postcard. Add something heavy on top to push it into the postcard. Set aside to dry.<\/p>\n<p>Create a sentiment using a rubber stamp on kraft cardstock. Apply distress inks to the edges of the sentiment.
