Sharing a recap of the January Creative prompts, Linda created this cover using her Radiant Red Digital Journal Kit<\/a> made from a composition Notebook.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 1st Creative Prompt using fibers and creating a bookmark<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Taking a brightly colored sari fabric, Linda used the Hearts Stencil from the January Artistic Stencil Club with rubber stamps to create her bookmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"January<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

January 2nd Creative Prompt Use Something<\/span> Blue<\/a><\/h5>\n

Showing you a blue gel print with and then framing it with washi tape, Linda adds White Words on Black for a statement on her page.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 3rd Creative Prompt Create a Journal Card<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Have you ever created a mixed media master board? Linda created a mixed media master board, took scraps from other projects to create a journal card.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 4th Creative Prompt Create A Pocket<\/span><\/a><\/h5>\n

Creating pockets for your journals gives you more space to put your thought on paper and tuck them away. For this prompt, Linda shares how she used her Radiant Red Digital Journal Kit scraps with with distress inks to create a pocket for her journal.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 5th Creative Prompt Use A Rubber Stamp<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Taking\u00a0 a stencil from the July Artistic\u00a0 Stencil Club<\/a> Stamping with the Ironworks<\/a> rubber stamp by BLine Design with black archival ink<\/a>, Linda stamped all around the edges of this journal page. Rubber stamps are an simple way to dress up your pages.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 6th Creative Prompt Paint Junk Mail<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

We all have junk mail laying around that can be useful items when creating pages, Linda created this page using a few stencils<\/a> from her shop, and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist<\/a>, with the Banner Duo rubber stamp<\/a>,\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 7th Creative Prompt Use a Poem to Inspire<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Finding a poem that inspired her, Linda took Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, various colors of distress inks, the Sea Oats rubber stamp<\/a> to create this junk journal page. Poems are something that can inspire you to write in your journal!<\/span><\/p>\n

January 8 Creative Prompt Write a Compliment<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Journal pages don’t have to be complicated, you can create them to be very simple. In this blog Linda shows how she used the Sewing Cube Rubber Stamps<\/a> with black archival ink<\/a> with digital images from the Radiant Red Creative Kit<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 9 Creative Prompt Pick Three Colors<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Choosing three of her favorite colors, Linda created this page using the her stencils from the November Artistic Stencil Club<\/a> to create this journal page.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 10th Creative Prompt Use an Image from a Book or Magazine<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Images from an old magazine or old book are great items to help create junk journal pages, Linda shows how to create this page using rubber stamps with distress inks.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 11th Creative Prompt Use a Quote<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Quotes can inspire a person,\u00a0 Finding one on Quote Garden, Linda takes the Feeding Frenzy stencil,<\/a> and the Flowering Branch<\/a> Stamp to create this page.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 12th Creative Prompt Create A Journal Page Around Your Favorite Flower<\/span><\/a><\/h5>\n

Taking the Boxed Flowers Stencil<\/a> with Fire Brick Red Distress Ink<\/a> to create the back ground on this page. Stamping the edges of the page with the Textured Edges<\/a> with a Label Duo<\/a> rubber stamp to complete this journal page prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 13th Creative Prompt Page Centered Around Last Travel<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Adding rubber stamps to add a pattern to any plain piece of paper. For this page, Linda used Fern Leaves<\/a> rubber stamps with distress inks to remember her recent vacation.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 14th Creative Prompt Choose an Animal<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Personalizing your junk journal pages with an animal is always fun, Linda chose Birds for her animal. She used the Song Bird<\/a> digital images by Calico Collage<\/span><\/p>\n

January 15th Creative Prompt Self Care<\/a><\/h5>\n

Sharing her thoughts on self care, Linda created this page using the Postcard Collage<\/a> rubber stamp and the digital images from the Radiant Red<\/a> Creative Kit.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 16th Creative Prompt Use Red<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Red is a bold color! Taking images from the Radiant Red Creative Kit for today, Linda creates her page with the Textured Edges Quartet<\/a> Stamp and Walnut Stain<\/a> Distress Ink. She then writes about a bold event in her life, take a look to find out!<\/span><\/p>\n

January 17th Creative Prompt Last Movie You Watched<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Writing about the last movie you sat down and watched can bring back a memory, for this junk journal page Linda shows how you can create a page about the last movie you watched using stamps, distress inks and more!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mixed Media is a lot of fun. In this tutorial Linda shows how to collage papers, paint a page with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, use rubber stamps and fabric.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 21st Creative Prompt Create a Border<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Linda uses a Stencil, Distress ink and a Stamp to\u00a0 show how to create a border for this prompt. Remember just because a stamp wasn\u2019t designed to be a border ydoesn’t mean you can’t make it into one. Take a closer look at your stamps to see what could make a great border.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 22nd Creative Prompt Use the Word Memories<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

Today\u2019s prompt is about memories and in particular, childhood memories. Linda shares how she uses a stencil, rubber stamps and a scrap of fabric and then she shares a Childhood memory\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

January 23rd Creative Prompt Use Scraps<\/a><\/h5>\n

We all have scraps from projects laying around our craft space! For this tutorial Linda shares how she takes her gel print scraps with her Shabby Stitches<\/a> stamp and Washi tape to create today’s prompt.<\/span><\/p>\n

January 24th Creative Prompt Use Book Pages<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n
