This page was trimmed down to be 11 x 8.5 inches, you can make a journal page any size you like. Just adjust to fit your page.<\/h5>\n<p>Spray the page with Holly TAGM from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/merry-lil-christmas-tattered-angels-glimmer-mists-kit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merry Lil Christmas Paint kit<\/a> all over the page. Allow this to dry or use a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3vX3IPI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heat tool<\/a> to speed up the drying time. Since I had the sprays out I decided to spray with MLC Pine TAGM the tree chipboard boarder from the Merry Lil Christmas Creative kit. The top pockets measure about 2.5 x 5.25 inches. Adding another book page to the backside makes this paper stronger since the gel print was on a book page. The bottom pockets measure about 3 x 5.25 inches. Since this gel print was on a book page and there was extra page I just folded over the top to give a sturdy edge. Book pages glued to the back are another option to strengthen the pocket.<\/h5>\n<p>Apply <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2HrMZ1J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">distress ink, walnut stain<\/a> around the edges of the pockets.<\/p>\n<p>On the bottom page a one inch by 5.25 inch strip of fabric was glued down. Using a sewing machine a zig zag stich was added to hold the fabric and to give a decorative touch.<\/p>\n<p>To adhere the sequin trim use the <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/ycauey8o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Best Glue Ever<\/a>. Make a small line across the top of the plaid pockets and allow the glue to air dry. Ink with <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3gU3X8s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Archival Ink, Jet Black<\/a> and stamp across the top of the page.<\/p>\n<p>Stamp the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/gn0101c-gnome-1-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gnome 1<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cm0102d-poinsettia-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Poinsettia<\/a> stamps on white cardstock with <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3gU3X8s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Archival Ink, Jet Black<\/a>. Then color the images using <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3pHy7jE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3nzL78p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Derwent watercolor<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3jHMUY3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inktense<\/a> pencils. Water color the images using different colors from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/merry-lil-christmas-tattered-angels-glimmer-mists-kit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merry Lil Christmas TAGM paint kit<\/a>. Fussy cut the images using <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2Wwn4vE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fiskars scissors<\/a> and apply distress ink walnut stain around the images.<\/p>\n<h5>Tip: If you have a hard time getting distress ink in the small areas around an image use a paint brush dipped in water and then on the distress ink pad.<\/h5>\n<p>Four by four inch journal cards are perfect for these pockets. Stamp the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cm0108c-holly-leaf-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Holly Leaf Stamp<\/a> in the corners of two cards. Heat the embossing powder until it is raised and no longer dull.<\/p>\n<p>Stamp the Holly Leaf stamp on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cm109d-merry-christmas-qt-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merry Christmas<\/a> Strip. Trim the strip to 3.5 inches wide. color the Holly Leaf images. Complete embellishing the pockets with the stamped elements.
