Select a paper edge punch that fits your style. I use a Fiskars Rotary Cutter as I feel it is the straightest cutter I&#8217;ve found in a while.<\/p>\n<p>Apply distress inks to the edge of the strip if you like the vintage look.<\/p>\n<h5>Adhere the strip with a thin line of glue to hold the paper in place, more if you are not going to sew the strip down.<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Paper-Lace-Edge-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg\" alt=\"Paper Lace Edge Tutorial\" width=\"1000\" height=\"813\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-95868\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Paper-Lace-Edge-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Paper-Lace-Edge-Tutorial-Image-1a-300x244.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Paper-Lace-Edge-Tutorial-Image-1a-768x624.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Paper-Lace-Edge-Tutorial-Image-1a-600x488.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Use a standard sewing machine with a standard needle and thread to stitch the strip in place once the glue has dried. Tip: make sure to let the glue dry or it will gum up the needle and the paper can tear.
