But you don&#8217;t have to use the digital file. Fussy cut the elements. I printed all of the items on 60 pound white linen cardstock, using my <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/331UKGS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HP Envy Photo 7855<\/a> with the <a href=\"http:\/\/try.hpinstantink.com\/rcnh3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instant Ink Program<\/a>. It gives it a vintage, shabby chic look.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the patterns that Norella used on the papers are patterns that I drew for stencils. Norella is so clever that she can use my drawings to create cool background patterns. I chose to layer a torn strip from an old bible to add a bit of interest to the layers. Use a small amount of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2V8rPLR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aleene&#8217;s Tacky glue<\/a> to adhere each layer. I prefer to use black thread as it stands out more on the cards. Use what ever color of thread you like. However, if you don&#8217;t have a sewing machine you could use the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/ctm230f-shabby-stitches-qt-rubber-stamps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shabby Stitches rubber stamps<\/a> to create a sewn effect or a pen and draw faux stitches.<\/p>\n<p>Self adhesive flat back rhinestones were a perfect accent to use on these beautiful Heart Layered Cards.
