Every once and a while I want an envelope that can accommodate a 4 x 6 journal card. So I decided to create a template. Grab a sheet of copy paper or even a book page that is 8.5 x 11 inches in size. Lay the Little Hearts Stencil on top and spray with Dried Lavender TAGM. Place another sheet of paper on top of the wet stencil to mop up the excess spray. I love doing this because it creates two pages with one spraying session.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Flip the sprayed page over (sometimes I&#8217;ll use the mop up page to spray the new design on the backside) However, do what you like! Lay the Heart Flower Stencil on top of the paper and spray with True Turquoise or Curious TAGM. Mop up the excess spray with the same mop up page or use a new page.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg\" alt=\"Stenciled Stamped Handmade Envelope Tutorial\" width=\"1000\" height=\"789\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-96198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1a.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1a-300x237.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1a-768x606.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1a-600x473.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Either let the paper air dry or use a heat tool to dry the paper. Place the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/envelope-stencil-template-4-x-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Envelope stencil Template 4 x 6<\/a> on the back (or what will be the inside of the envelope) of the dry paper and trace with a pencil. I find that if I place the straight edge of the stencil to the edge of the paper then that is one less cut I have to make. This also gives a nice straight edge to the inside top of the envelope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Fussy cut the envelope. Apply <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2HrMZ1J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Distress Ink Walnut Stain<\/a>\u00a0to the edges of the envelope. Fold the envelope and adhere the sides with <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2V8rPLR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aleene&#8217;s Tacky Glue<\/a> or your favorite adhesive. At this time I like to use the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2HrMZ1J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Distress Ink Walnut Stain<\/a> again to go around the folded edges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1b.jpg\" alt=\"Stenciled Stamped Handmade Envelope Tutorial\" width=\"1000\" height=\"929\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-96199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1b.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1b-300x279.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1b-768x713.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Stenciled-Stamped-Handmade-Envelope-Tutorial-Image-1b-600x557.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Finish decorating the envelope with stamps. Stamp the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cho169d-winged-heart-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Winged Heart<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/31QqyxE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Distress Oxide Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves<\/a>. Dry the ink with a heat tool.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Over stamp the heart with <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cho164c-grunge-love-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grunge Love<\/a> using <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3gU3X8s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Archival Ink Jet Black<\/a>. Stamp the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cff620d-single-rose-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Single Rose<\/a> and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/chf208c-cherish-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cherish<\/a> on the front of the envelope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Turn the envelope over and stamp the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/cho163e-floral-cherish-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Floral Cherish<\/a> at the bottom, below the flap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Love Ya Like A Sister';\">Create the heart closure by using a scrap of paper and trace one of the hearts from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/lots-of-hearts-29-chipboard-pieces\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lots of Hearts 29 Chipboard Pieces<\/a>. Fussy cut the heart. Apply distress ink around the edges of the heart. Stamp on top of the heart with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lindaisrael.com\/art\/product\/fd119d-heart-flower-branch-rubber-stamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heart Flower Branch<\/a>.
