Handmade Paper Making Workshop. During this in person workshop You will have hands on learning how to make paper. Using scraps of paper, shredded paper and more I’ll show how to create the pulp and then the sheets of paper.<\/div>\n

Cost $30 per student (you will take home several handmade papers)<\/h5>\n

What you can do. Over the next few weeks collect papers that you want to recycle and do the following:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Junk mail – Remove the plastic items and widows from envelopes, only paper<\/li>\n
  • Scraps from projects<\/li>\n
  • Other paper that you might have on hand<\/li>\n
  • If you have a paper shredder, shred the paper and put into containers – bags or what ever you have.<\/li>\n
  • The night before we make paper, grab some of those paper scraps and soak in water, just enough to cover the paper. Soaking over night helps to make pulp. Only do this if you have shredded the paper first, otherwise we will shred the paper and soak during the workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
