Just a little About Linda Israel. My name is Linda Israel if you haven’t already guessed since this is the name of my web domain. This website was a Christmas gift from my wonderful husband Christmas 2004.
Born and raised in Oklahoma. I have lived here all of my life except for the very long year I spent in New Jersey. My husband Henry and I have talked about moving away, but for now we are very happy living in Yukon, Oklahoma. We don’t have any children but do have 2 dogs. These are our babies.
Hercules and Oreo all ready for Christmas
My art journey began at an early age. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl I made my own doll clothes out of old clothes. Later my grandmother showed me how to use a sewing machine and I made my first outfit. For my SR. High School Prom, I made my dress, it was a wedding dress pattern but I made it with mint green under ivory lace. Sewing is still a big part of my life as I enjoy creating craft items and sewing clothing.
Several years later I found rubber stamping and found something that I really loved that I could share with others. For many years I made greeting cards that I sold in several local shops and online.
Other arts I’ve enjoyed: Lamp work bead making, creating items with precious metal clay, jewelry making, crochet, knitting, cross stich, resin jewelry making, polymer clay and many more.
Currently, I enjoy making junk journals and all that goes with the creating of junk journals. Which may include creating unique covers, journal pages, pockets, tags, cards and more.
My line of handmade Stencils has been one of my favorite things to offer. These stencils were hand drawn by me and then cut in house on a laser cutter.
