How to Make a Hipster Greeting Card

If you have been following me for any length of time you know that I have a hard time leaving white space on a card. Today’s project is no different.

Using a mask for the Hipster Bunny I created the background that fills that white space all around her. It truly feels like she is standing in the rain, but she really doesn’t care.

Stamping, spraying, and coloring is so much fun. sometimes I forget how much fun it is until I sit down to make a card like this one.

The layers of color on this card gives it depth. To me, it looks like a spent a very long time creating this card but really it wasn’t long. Do you ever look at a project you made days later and think, hey who made that? Then realize that YOU made it, that you were the creator of something wonderful?

Do you ever look at a project you made days later and think, hey who made that? Then realize that YOU made it, that you were the creator of something wonderful? Sometimes when I look through old photos or visit a website where I submitted my work I’ll stop and say hey I like that one. And then after a moment, I’ll realize that it was my own work! lol

Creating a greeting card to give to someone is so much more than giving them a lift for the day. It can also brighten your spirits while you create and then when giving the card or art to another person.
