Today I have a Felt Flower Tutorial and Gemini Jr Giveaway to share with you. Back in January while attending Creativation 2018 I got to meet some wonderful people at the Crafters Companion booth. I got to test drive the Gemini and make a few projects and then later they gave me a Gemini Jr for my 5000 Subscriber giveaway on Youtube.

The method of making these flowers is pretty easy for this Felt Flower Tutorial, I first used the Gemini to cut the felt. It cuts beautifully and is easy to pull apart the negative from the positive.

Using a pair of tweezers I then start to roll up the flower. Adding a drop of glue and then rolling more.

Continue rolling the flower adding glue until you get to the big round part. Make sure you are keeping the roll even so you will have a pretty flower. When you get to the end, apply hot glue to the roll and close the flap on the bottom.

The flower is done, or you can go further by spraying with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I used Party Pink Tattered Angels lightly over the flower and then dried with my heat tool. The flower on the left has been sprayed the flower on the right is the original color.

This flower needed a flat back pearl so I used the Embellie Gellie to hold the pearl and the Surebonder glue gun to place the glue. The Embellie Gellie with its stick allows perfect placement of the pearl.

Isn’t this pink flower super cute? It was made using a dryer sheet and Party Pink Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Then added a flat back pearl to the center. What a great way to upcycle those dryer sheets right?
