Sharing the Planner Clip Swap with Vanessa Garcia of Savvy Planners group on Facebook. She organized a planner clip swap and I’m sharing what I got from her. She made lots of cute planner clips!

These clips don’t have to be used in a planner, these can be used as bookmarks or to hold papers together. This time these were made for Planners. 🙂

Didn’t she do an awesome job on these little planner clips? I think these are super cute and I’m glad I got to swap with her.

Since we were swapping I did make videos of a few of the clips I sent to her.

Making these planner clips was super fun and easy. I like how small these are and can be added to a greeting card.

Fussy Cut Bingo Swap Card Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a Fussy Cut Bingo Swap Card Tutorial. One of my Facebook group is having a swap and I decided to join in the fun. Using digital images from Calico Collage, some scissors, and a few other supplies I made bingo cards in under ten minutes. You can make these too.\

Supplies used in the Fussy Cut Bingo Swap Card Tutorial.
Let’s get started on this Fussy Cut Bingo Swap Card Tutorial. Begin with selecting digital images. Next crop the fussy cut images you want to use and print at a size that will fit your bingo card. In my case, I made the smaller images about 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

The images were printed on standard copy paper using a laser printer. Use what you have, or you can even send the images to a print shop. Trim the images from the paper.

For the bingo cards, these were printed four to a page and these measured about 4.5 x 3.75 inches. Cut cardstock for the card base slightly larger than the images. Or you can print the images on cardstock and not have to mat the images.

Select an image for the focal point and fussy cut. If this were going to be a pocket in a journal I would either print on cardstock or glue another piece of paper on the back to make it stronger. Since this is a journal card and won’t get as much pulling items in and out I left it at the copy weight paper.

Add distress inks to the edges of all the papers. Adhere the bingo card to the base with the Best Glue Ever. Layer the fussy cut element in the corner and then sew around the outside of the bingo card, catching the fussy cut element on two sides.

Apply Tulip Dimensional glitter paint to the image to highlight areas that you want to sparkle.

Place the journal card in the tuck spot and you are done! It took me longer to write this blog post than it did for me to create one of these cards it goes that fast!

Pink Floral Napkin Tag Tutorial

Today I’m sharing a Pink Floral Napkin Tag Tutorial. The tag was made for a swap with one of my friends. She loves pink and I think this tag had the perfect amount of pink for her. This project is the first of what I hope to be many projects to cause you to be a #motivatedcreator. Be inspired to create because of the things I show you, try new things.

Supplies used in the Pink Floral Napkin Tag Tutorial.

Let’s begin the Pink Floral Napkin Tag Tutorial. Select the corner image from Her Allure, trim and add distress ink to the edges. Apply Tulip Dimensional Glitter paint on the flowers of the corner and allow to dry.

Use a pretty napkin and a 4 x 6 tag base. Apply glue stick to the tag base and then using the top layer of the napkin adhere the napkin.

Spray Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists on the tag base and corner pocket. Let the spray dry or use a heat tool.

Trim the corners of the 4 x 6 to create a tag shape. Sew around the edges of the tag shape. Apply distress ink around the edges.

Using hot glue attach the pom pom trim to the bottom of the tag. Adhere the corner pocket on the tag base over the trim.

Create a half rosette using pink lace and a stapler, adhere to the corner using hot glue. Adhere the pink lace scrap and chiffon rose on top of the lace bit.

Apply dots of the Best Glue Ever on the chiffon rose, lace embellishment in three spots, then place flat back rhinestones on top.

Punch a hole at the top of the tag and tie lace through the hole. Could staple or sew if you like that look.

Mermaid Loaded Mini Bag

Sharing a Mermaid Loaded Mini Bag for a Swap. One of the groups on Facebook had a One day swap. The idea was we would all speak up if we wanted to do a loaded mini bag swap and that same day we would be given our partner. After chatting with my partner and learning what she liked I decided to make a Mermaid themed loaded mini bag. Here is the result.

This Mermaid Loaded Mini Bag was a great way for me to use up items in my stash. The instructions said to use a 6 x 6 piece of scrapbook paper and a mini bag. The bag I had was not small but not giant either. So I decided to make it in my own style.

Mermaid Loaded Mini BagThe bag was mounted to a piece of cardstock and then I started adding scrapbook papers I had in my stash to give it a great ocean theme.

Mermaid Loaded Mini BagAdding stamping to premade cards makes this project fast. I also found a few blank journal cards to give a new look. Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists – Curious was added here and there to give that ocean feel.

Mermaid Loaded Mini BagMy Mermaid stash bag had lots of left over bits from other projects. Keeping all the items in a ziplock or pocket helps with creating a project like this one.
