How to make a Hello Spellbinders Pinwheels Greeting Card. Using two sided Rinea Foil, Darice Bamboo Embossing folder and EK tools Hello Punch. I’ll show you how to make a beautiful Pinwheel card.

While shopping at Tuesday Morning a few weeks back I picked up the Spellbinders Pinwheels dies. Thinking these would be beautiful made with the Rinea Foil.

So I pulled out all of my supplies and set to making this card.

Below you will find a video on How to make a Hello Spellbinders Pinwheels Greeting Card.

Making the pinwheels is really easier than it looks. Once I figured out how many pieces to cut and how to put these together.

For the two pinwheels, I made there are five cuts of each of the two dies. The pinwheel looks best when two sided paper is used. The Rinea Foil was perfect since there are several papers that have different colors on each side.

Be aware that this card will get smashed if you put it in an envelope and mail it to someone. I would suggest either hand delivering the card or putting it in a small box so that it arrives in its full beautiful glory.

Make sure you head over to the Rinea website and see all the beautiful colors of paper foils that they offer. This isn’t your typical foil paper, it is better.

This is a fun messy project and it yielded 24 ATC’s. Twenty of these ATC’s were sent out in a swap. I’m awaiting the arrival of the swap any day. It is exciting to wait and see what the others made and to find out what they thought of the ATC;s I made.

This ATC swap was hosted by a new friend that I met in January at Creativation. She is a joy to hang out with and I’m in love with all of her projects. She reached out to twenty people and they all said yes they would like to join her swap. What fun!

My cards were completed early because I read the deadline wrong. lol I thought that these hand to be in the mail by April first. I’ve been waiting to share this project for a month! LOL

How to make an Embellished Home Decor Butterfly With Paper. Using the Rinea Foil and a few paper punches I’ll alter a metal butterfly and give it a whole new look.

The butterfly was on clearance at Hobby Lobby a while back and I thought this would be a perfect project to add Riena Foil and give it a whole new look.

The supply list is very short for this Embellished Home Decor Butterfly With Paper

Rinea Foil, three colors, a purple and two shades of pink
Circle Paper punches, (here is a Nesting Circle set for many sizes)
Scor-Pal SP202 Scor-Tape, 0.25 by 27-Yard
Scissors
Pencil
Cardstock to adhere the paper
Aleene’s Tacky Glue

This is a very easy project that can be done in about an hour or less. You could even get elaborate and cut all kinds of shapes for the wings.

I decided to keep this pretty simple and only used three colors. Mainly because these were the three that went together that I had in my stash. lol Sometimes you just make do with what you have and it usually turns out really cool!

This would make a great housewarming gift. Just find out what the color scheme is for their home and make the butterfly to match. Or while you are out shopping look at other metal shapes and see if they could be turned into a project like this.

To me, this butterfly reminds me of a stained glass piece. The bright colors are so beautiful and cheery. Have fun finding an object and then selecting the colors. Make sure you order a couple of the multi packs so that you have at least two sheets of each color to play with for your project.

Hopefully, this project will spark an idea or two for you and you will get to creating today.

How to Make a Spring Peacock Paper Doll with Rinea Foil

Did you play with paper dolls when you were a kid? Well here is your chance to do it again with How to Make a Spring Peacock Paper Doll with Rinea Foil. The Spring Peacock Paper Doll collection is from Calico Collage and I have paired it with Rinea paper foil.

The fun thing about these paper dolls is that you get to make them any way you want. With the items in the kit you can pick and choose which patterns you want to use. Or you can make up your own.

For my Spring Peacock Paper Doll Fairy I decided to add some of the Rinea paper foil. I love the shine and sparkle it adds.

The paper doll is super easy to make. Cut out the desired doll. Since mine were printed on copy paper I glued mine to cardstock.

Select the Rinea foils that match the Doll parts and die cut the butterfly and roses.

Paint the Bamboo Skewer black with acrylic paint.

Use the Cross Lock Tweezer or a quilling tool to make the roses. I use hot glue to finish the rose as it sets up quickly.

Using purple acrylic paint, cover the back of the dolls head to mimic her hair.

Adding a little extra to the outside edge, trace the dress on the Purple Rinea Paper Foil and cut out. Adhere to the back of the dress.

Hot glue bamboo skewer to the back of doll body. Attach arms and legs with Aleene’s Tacky Glue.

Make a lace petticoat and adhere to the back of the dress. Hot glue the dress to the body. Tie lace around the body at the waist to represent a belt. Leave extra in the back to look like a big bow.

Adhere the Rinea Paper Foil wings to the Calico Collage Wings with Aleene’s Tacky Glue. Then adhere both to the back of the doll.

Place the large Rinea paper foil rose at the waist of the doll with hot glue. Add the smaller rose and a couple of silk flowers on her head.

Admire your super cute fairy you made.
