Using items from the Sew Artsy Subscription Box, dress form chip board, and scraps Linda shows you how to create this cute dress form tag to use in your journals.
Using sewing themed stamps, the black on white inspirational words, with scrap pieces Linda created this cute journal tag. She took the chipboard dress form that is included in the sew artsy subscription box and applied Distress Oxide, rubber stamped image, some lace, button and rhinestone to dress it up.
Adding several elements such as the white on black inspirational words, fabric pieces, and lace will give your tag a very personalized look. Layers of different items can also give charm and texture. Great way to use up those bits and pieces.
Here you can see Linda blended walnut stain distress ink on the edges of the tag and used sewing themed stamps for the dress form tag.
Fabric pieces can be glued or sewn into place. Change up the thread in your sewing machine to add a touch of color. Here you can see two examples that Linda created using several items from the Sew Artsy Subscription Box.
