Using pages left over from the Book Pages into Journal Card Tutorial and a few rubber stamps makes it easy to create an altered paperclip. Off set layers add interest to this altered paperclip.
Select pages that have different shades of color and text. Over stamping on book pages obscures the text and adds interest.
When you are done with a project, don’t throw out those scraps, save these for another project that will match the first. Find small storage containers, like zipper bags to keep all the like items together if you have to clear off your desk.
The script background is the French Correspondence stamped on book pages.
Creating altered paper clips is a great way to use up those scraps of paper from previous projects without having to put too much effort in to them. How do you like to use your scraps from projects?
