Supplies used for the Stamped Reindeer Journal Card Tutorial.
To begin this Stamped Reindeer Journal Card Tutorial grab a four inch square watercolor paper cardstock card. Heavier paper works best when using watercolors. If you don’t have heavy paper, then you may want to layer on another piece as the paints may bleed through.

Stamp the Jumping Reindeer with Archival Ink, Jet Black in the center of the journal card. Create a mask by stamping again on a scrap of copy paper. Fussy cut the mask and apply a small amount of the Best Glue Ever with Large No Clog Writing Tip to the back and allow to air dry.

Lay the mask over the reindeer image and then stamp the Bough Duo with Distress Oxide Forest Moss around the outside edge of the card. Dry with a heat tool and then rub the card with the ScraPerfect Perfect Crafting Pouch or an antistatic pouch. I didn’t do this in the video, but it should have been done to prevent the powder from sticking in the next step.

Ink the Holly Leaf stamp with Versamark Watermark Ink Pad or an embossing ink and stamp around the outside edge of the journal card. Heat emboss the powder. Make sure to keep the heat tool moving so you don’t scorch the card. Remove the mask.

Color the reindeer and holly leaves with Inktense Ink Derwent Colored Pencils and Derwent Academy Watercolor Pencils.

Watercolor the images using colors of the Merry Lil Christmas Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Paint kit. Allow the paint to dry and then apply sparkle with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
