I’m going through my stash and decided I would make a Black and White Junk Journal Embellishment Kit. The paper has flocking in the black areas and it feels so wonderful to touch.

One of the things that takes a while to put together in a Junk Journal is the elements or embellishments. I like to have a stack of items ready to go so that I’m not spending a lot of time trying to make things when I want to finish a journal.

Digging around in my stash I found the paper that I got in a junk pack from Canvas Corp Brands and knew these would make beautiful elegant embellishments for a junk journal.

I’m so glad that I moved one of my sewing machines into my paper art studio. I have it on my right side ready to be used anytime. Before I would have to go into another room or move a ton of things in order to use the sewing machine.

Since the sewing machine is handy it makes it easy to sew papers together and I did so for this Black and White Junk Journal Embellishment Kit.

I also found some beautiful beaded eyelash trim in my stash. I thought it would be pretty on a tall journaling card, and I’m right. It is beautiful and adds to that tactile feeling.

There are nineteen elements in the kit. Die cut shapes which include a large butterfly and doily. Tiny punched butterflies are perfect to add to the strings in a journal or to enhance a page or make another embellishment.

Library style pocket with a journal spot is also included. I added lined notebook paper to the tag and I think it looks so elegant.

I have made up three of these kits for sale in my shop. The price includes shipping.

Want more items in the kit than the 19 included? Please feel free to contact me through my Facebook Page.

My hope is that I have inspired you to look at those papers in your stash and make your own kit to add to your journals. Or feel free to buy the ones I made up.
