Still working my challenge #junkjournaljuly and this is day 29. Today I’m sharing How to make a Dream Big Junk Journal. Using Brutus Monroe Stamps, Chameleon Pens and more.

Dream Big Junk Journal

The Dreamcatching stamp set from Brutus Monroe is super cute! When I saw this set I knew it would make a great Dream Big Junk Journal. Isn’t this a great set?

Here is a Video Showing How to make a Dream Big Junk Journal.

Using a MISTI stamp the Dream Catcher, Fox and Dream Big on a scrap of white cardstock that will fit on the cover of a Travelers Notebook. My Travelers Notebook measures 8.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide when closed.

Color the images using Chameleon Pens. Don’t you just love how they blend so well?

Apply Jack O Lantern with a distress applicator around the edge, then apply Zest in the same manner.

Tulip Glitter Paint adds sparkle, add a little to the dream catcher and the fox. It is so pretty!

Collect scraps for the cover and make a collage. Attach the panel with Aleene’s glue and pop dots if necessary. Mine had a really thick piece of handmade paper so I used both.

The inside is a mix of papers that were cut 8.25 inches tall by 8.50 inches wide. These are then folded in half to make pages. Some I even sewed pockets.

Assemble the Junk Journal with Waxed Linen thread. I like to apply little butterflies or other punched paper shapes on the strings in the center of my book. It adds a little bit of whimsy. 😉

Now admire your work! I love this little journal. I’ll be making more like this one!
