Made a Pink Unicorn Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal for day 30 of #junkjournaljuly. Unicorns have always been a favorite item to collect since I was a little girl. Today I thought why not make a Unicorn themed junk journal.
This Pink Unicorn Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal measures 8.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide and has 16 sheets of paper for a total of 64 pages.
Here is a flip through video of the Pink Unicorn Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal.

Lately, I’ve really enjoyed doing collages on the covers of the junk journals I make. It is a great way to use up scraps of papers by layering on the cover. This adds texture and interest.
One day I sat and stamped the unicorn from the Lawn Fawn Winter Unicorn set and then die cut each one. The unicorns were then colored with Chameleon Pens. Using these pins really does make it easy to blend and get beautiful images. I’m still learning how to use these, but I’m very happy with what I create using these pens.
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists are my go to product when I want to add color to a page. I just love how it makes everything shimmer.
Using my MISTI I was able to have perfect placement on the pages where I stamped either a Unicorn or a saying.
My goal for 2017 is to use up what I have collected over the years. Making this Pink Unicorn Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal was another way to use up this stash. Many of the papers I’ve had for years and I was unsure how to use many of these papers. Making a Junk Journal gives me a way to use these papers up as pages or elements in the Junk Journals. My stash is starting to get a little smaller every day!
Take a look around at your stash and see what could be used in Junk Journals. You might be surprised at how easy it is to make these journals and use what you already have to make them.
If you haven’t checked out the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group, please do so. Of course, you are welcome to join the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. At the moment it is a small group, but we are a friendly group willing to help each other and encourage each other.

Here is my shop, I have a lot of items uploaded and add more weekly.
My hope is that I have inspired you to look at those papers in your stash and make your own junk journal.
