FF135G Honeycomb Wire duo Rubber Stamps - Book page painted with yellow and orange acrylic craft paint about 5 x 9 in size
- Printed White Cardstock and Color Printer Paper
- Paper Cutter

- Distress Ink, Walnut Stain
- Blending Tool
- Ranger Archival Jet Black Permanent Dye Ink Stamp Pad & Re-Inker Refill
- 3 x 4 acrylic block
For this super quick and easy HoneyComb and Summer Flowers Junk Journal Page Tutorial start by printing the digital download. I printed both images back to back on color printer paper and then I printed the Honeycomb page on cardstock.
Cut the honeycomb page. See the diagram below. Goal is to have the following pieces, Two 5 x 7 inch cards, one 1 x 7 inch strip, one 1.5 x 11 inch strip.
Apply distress ink, Walnut Stain around all the edges using a blending tool.
Adhere the 1 x 7 inch strip to the long side of the 5 x 7 kraft journal card with Aleene’s Tacky Glue.
Fold the journal page in half and fold the 1.5 x 11 strip in half. Apply glue to the ends of the strip and adhere in the center of the page to make a long belly band. Allow the glue to dry before sliding in the 5 x 7 journal cards.
Grab a painted book page and fold in half or cut in half to make two pieces. On the top edge score .5 inch and fold. Apply glue to this scored portion and adhere to the center of one panel of the folded page. Repeat with the other pieces.
Place the Summer Bloom Rubber Stamp on an Acrylic Block, ink with Jet Black Archival Ink and stamp in the lower corner of both of the book page flips.
Enjoy the journal page! Super quick and easy! Could you see how other papers you may have or could make would work for this project as well?
