This tutorial for Day 4 Using Old Greeting Cards is super easy. Dig around for some old cards in your stash. Since my old cards were blank invitations it was easy to collage a design.
Some cards may need a little more creativity. Don’t be afraid to collage over the image or text on a greeting card. Here is a blog post about my using items from my stash including an old vintage greeting card.
Select scraps of paper, like mixed media pages or gel prints. Using stamped images is a great way to add something pretty.
Scraps of book pages altered with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists is a great way to add a pop of color.
Think outside the box when looking at your old greeting cards. Have fun altering these cards into usable journal elements. Remember you are the boss of your junk journal and there are no rules!
