Day 6 of 12 Days of Junk Journal Gift Ideas Notepad

To start out Linda chose a stencil from the December Artistic Stencil club and applied distress oxide dusty concord to a piece of paper using an oval blending brush. Using Aleene’s Tacky Glue she glued together to make it a side load pocket. Taking her Bella Rose stamp with black archival ink stamp to the pocket and to the pages that will go on oatmeal box piece, as well as stamping the Jr. Legal notepad pages.

Linda then collages pieces of a music page with ephemera from the One Fine day kit by Calico Collage. Add the pieces of paper and put together, consider using a paper clip to hold it together as you assemble while the glue dries.

Adding a sentiment to the front, using a piece of paper that she colored with Positive Vibe Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist –  Deep Purple Vibe. Layering this a piece of the oatmeal box, then stamping out Gather your dreams rubber stamp and adhered to the front using tacky glue.
Create a decorative border edge at the top of your notepad using a scrap of fabric. Linda then sewed the fabric piece of fabric. Don’t have a sewing machine, you can glue down with Tacky Glue.

Create a lot of notepads for your friends and family as gifts! What items will you use to create your gift?
