How to make a junk journal page

Supplies used to create the Sari Silk Pocket Journal Page Tutorial

• Sari Silk from Dust Fairies
• April Stencil Club
• Royal Peacock Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
• Sewing Machine
• Distress Ink, Walnut Stain
• Blending Tool
• Sheet music (my page was a thumbnail from a song book and it was the perfect size as a background)
• 5 x 7 Journal card
• Gel Print Scrap
• Cardstock for tag
• Bone Folder
• Aleene’s Tacky Glue
• Copy Paper or other thin paper.
• ATG Gun or double sided tape
• Heat Tool
• Fibers and ribbons

Select a piece of Sari Silk that is about 8.5 inches by 8.5 inches. The idea is when the piece is folded in half it will make a pocket on the edge of a journal page. If you have a small piece consider sewing several together to get the size needed for a pocket. Don’t have a sewing machine? Use tape or glue to adhere the fabric to a piece of paper, you can also use HeatnBond and iron the fabric to paper.
