Supplies Used for the Dictionary Page Turned Junk Journal Page Tutorial.

Let’s get started on this Dictionary Page Turned Junk Journal Page Tutorial. Select a Dictionary page or other paper that is about 8.5 x 11 inches to fit inside a journal.

Print the Radiant Red all over pattern page on copy paper. I like thinner paper when I’m attaching it as an embellishment, it won’t add as much bulk that way. Cut two 1 inch by 11 inch strips. Trim if needed to fit the long edge of the book page. Apply Distress inks to the edges of each strip. Adhere on the top of the page in landscape, on both sides.

Cut a piece of red copy paper into fourths. Each piece should be about 4.25 x 5.5 inches in size. Stamp using black ink and one of the Shabby Stitches designs near the edge to give the appearance of stitches around each piece of paper. Fold the book page in half to make a 5.5 x 8.5 page, Adhere one red block to each of the four sides of the paper.

Open back up the page. Stamp the Romantic swirl stamp in the lower outside corners with black ink.

Apply a thin bead of Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect using the Large No Clog Writing cap along the bottom edge of the journal page. Allow to air dry until clear or almost clear. Lay the red sequin trim on the glue, trim off excess.

Cut pieces of eyelash yarn about 2 to 3 inches long. Use the eyelash yarn to make a circle on top of the romantic swirl image. Select a few fussy cut items from the Radiant Red Digital download or the Radiant Red Creative Box. Apply Aleene’s tacky glue to the back of each piece and place one on each circle of yarn over the stamped image.
