Supplies used in the YouTube Live with Linda Create and Chat video.
- Inspirational Words ATC Digital images by Calico Collage
- More Inspirational Words ATC Digital images by Calico Collage
- Gel Prints
- Acrylic Paint
- Large No-Clog Writing cap
For this set of journal cards, I cut cardstock down to about 5.5 x 4.25 in size. Then adhered a few gel print images randomly on top. The Calico Collage digital images were then adhered on top of the gel prints. On a few of the cards, I used the large No-Clog Writing cap on a bottle of black acrylic craft paint to make marks.
The following cards were made using 5.5 x 4.25 cardstock bases with Gel Prints attached on top. The mat for the Calico Collage Digital image was painted with acrylic paint.
If you don’t have a certain color of paper you can paint it with acrylic paint. I love this look as it ties everything together and looks handmade. Being able to use the Gel Prints from a couple of my play sessions makes me feel good. I love all the unusual prints and backgrounds that I created. Some of the gel prints I scanned into my computer so I could reprint those as often as I like. These may become digital downloads in my shop soon too.
Get out those supplies and make something today. Hope you will come to the next YouTube Live event on Monday, November 19, 2018, at 3:45 pm Central Standard Time. I’ll be creating an advent junk journal at the event.
