Sharing a Glue Sponge Container Tutorial. This is a small vessel that holds a sponge and white glue to help with adhering papers together, especially when doing collage.

Super quick Glue Sponge Container Tutorial Video.

Supplies used.

I used a container I had on hand for this project. The key is to make sure that it is airtight so the glue won’t dry out.

Cut the sponge if necessary to fit inside the container. Some containers may require three layers of sponges, some only one.

Place the first sponge into the container and add just a little water, about a tablespoon amount. Then pour the Aleene’s Tacky glue over the sponge. Layer with additional sponges in the same manner.

I used the water because Aleene’s Tacky glue is very thick and I wanted it to have a little help to soak into the sponge.

After every use, I add a layer of glue on top before closing the container. This ensures that there is plenty of glue for the next project.
