On August 22 I created a Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal live on YouTube. This post is showing the finished journal and I’ll also share the video where I made the journal. It was a lot of fun to make this journal out of paper bags or lunch bags. Using Mixed Media, Calico Collage digital images and more makes this Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal unique.

My project was inspired by Kylie Coo. Here is her video that inspired me.
After watching Kylie’s video I decided that I would pull a few supplies and make a Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal live on YouTube. We all have fears that we can’t create. this Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal is the perfect project for someone that is unsure. It is about playing with the materials and not worrying about how it turns out.
The base of the journal is three 12 x 6 lunch sacks or paper bags. On these bags, I adhered various scraps of papers. Then added layers of acrylic craft paint.
Once the paint was dried I then stamped over all the layers to add another layer of texture.
Then the decorating of the pages begun by adding stickers, scraps of paper, and images from Calico Collage.
This Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal is perfect to use up those random bits you have. I used a bright color pallet so lots of things can be used.
It was so much fun creating this Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal live on YouTube. Hope you become a #motivatedcreator because of watching this video. If so please share on your favorite social media what you create using the #motivatedcreator because that is what you are, a motivated creator. 🙂
What theme would you use for your Mixed Media Paper Bag Junk Journal? I’m thinking of pulling a few more items to make another but with Peacocks. Love those birds.
