Follow the other artists creating projects for the 12 Days of Junk Journal Gift ideas inside the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group.

Use the Fancy Envelope Template or any envelope template you may already have and create an envelope. Use Gel prints, Mixed Media pages, Book pages with a napkin adhered and more.

Apply distress ink around the edges of the envelope. Distress the inside if desired.

Select images to represent faux postage using Calico Collage digital downloads. Adhere in the upper right corner on the front.  Stamp with the Postal Cube stamp to give the appearance of a cancelation.

Add a word phrase on the front of the envelope. Could use the White Words on Black Inspirational – Printed, Digital or fussy cut words from junk mail or books.

Create a journal card or note card for the inside. I used a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock folded in half and a strip of left over gel print along with the white words on black.

These are super cute envelopes that would make a great gift in a bundle. Write a note that the recipient could use these envelopes to pass along encouraging words or use as extra journal space.

The second envelope is very easy to make using copy paper, stencil and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Then embellished with Rubber Stamps and Calico Collage Images.

Once you get started creating these envelopes you will have so much fun you won’t know when to stop! LOL Have fun creating these for gifts or to use yourself.

What are your favorite envelopes to create? I really love using the gel prints and then the folded copy paper. Both of these are super easy and really cute. The following two envelopes have a Christmas Theme.
