Here is a flip through video showing the Spring Peacock Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal I made.

Chatting with her she said that she loved the Peacock images from another journal I made – Spring Peacock Junk Journal Flip Through.

Since she gave me an idea of what she liked I proceeded to make this Spring Peacock Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal. I love the images from Calico Collage. The colors are so beautiful.

This journal measures 8.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide when closed. It has ten sheets of paper folded in half to make 40 pages. Lots of tuck spots and journal cards inside as well.

It feels good to have another purpose for papers that would be thrown out. Pages from an old dictionary that the spine was destroyed are a great way to add elements in a Junk journal.

I also enjoy using napkins on top of old book pages. The texture is amazing. Tell your friends to save you one when they have an event. Then soon you could have a beautiful collection.

Other things I like to use is old art projects that didn’t turn out the way I thought it should. For example, I was playing with a Spirograph and when I was done I really didn’t care for how it turned out. But when I cut the page down and die cut a shape it looks really cool! Now I want to make more of these just so I can cut it up. lol

Do you see the pretty peacock feather in the corner? That is from a beautiful ribbon. I just sewed around the edges and added to the journal for a tuck spot.Spring Peacock Travelers Notebook Insert Junk JournalSpring Peacock Travelers Notebook Insert Junk Journal

Take a look around at the paper items you get daily. Could be junk mail, a package backer, old newspapers, even a bingo card from a late night of playing. 🙂 These are all great items to add to a junk journal.
