Today I’m sharing a Rose Stamp Tutorial. In this tutorial, I’ll show how I made my own stamp and then used it to decorate a junk journal page. Making a stamp like this is easier than you think. If you can find a silhouette image that is easy to cut out of craft foam then you too can make a custom stamp for your projects.

Supply List for the Rose Stamp Tutorial

Begin by selecting an image that is bold and easy to cut apart. Apply the Best Glue Ever to the back in a very thin coat. I used my finger. Lay this aside to air dry for a few minutes.

Cut cardboard squares to be slightly larger than the image. In my case, these were 4 inch squares and I used four layers to make it sturdy.

Adhere the image to the craft foam and cut apart the image. Having a second copy of the image will help you keep things in order. When a piece is cut out, lay on top of the copy.

Glue the pieces to the cardboard block. Tip – Start in the middle and work your way to the outside. On mine, I started on one side and ended up having to change the image because I ran out of room for the pieces.

Apply acrylic paint with a foam brush to the stamp in an even coat. Stamp on the desired surface.

The key is to have fun making your own stamp. This is a great way to do something custom that you won’t see in a store.
