Sharing a Gel Print Scrap Altered Paperclip Tutorial. Having made a bunch of gel prints and starting to use them for projects I had a few scraps. Today I decided that I would use some of these scraps to make an altered paperclip.

This Gel Print Scrap Altered Paperclip Tutorial is super easy. Use scraps to collage over a scrap of cardstock. Punch the scallop shape or any shape that is about 2 inches in size from the dry collage. Also, punch a scrap of cardstock for the back of the altered paperclip.
Apply distress inks around the edges of both punched shapes.
Slip a paperclip over the back piece, with the small part of the paperclip inside. Adhere the front and back together.
Punch other shapes or hand cut from gel print scraps. Apply distress ink around the edges of these pieces.
Adhere the shapes on the front of the altered paperclip.
Select a word and apply black soot distress ink around the edges. Adhere on the altered paperclip.
Using the Best Glue Ever with the large No-Clog writing cap apply a line of glue just below the word. Allow drying for a moment. Snip a piece of eyelash yarn that is the same length as the word. Place the eyelash yarn in the glue.
See wasn’t that super easy? What shapes will you make?
