Day 7 of 12 Days of Junk Journal Gift Ideas 2020 Repurpose. In this tutorial Linda gives us an idea to repurpose an item that may have ended up in the trash otherwise. Using Left over wrapping paper and some merchandise tags are the items she chose along with a few other items.

After altering a few merchandise tags, Linda took junior legal note paper and used tacky glue to create the back of the tag. She then cut out a couple of extra pieces of scrap paper and cut them to the size of the other tags. She then re punched the holes with the Crop a Dile hole punch so she could easily find them later.
Use up those old wrapping paper scraps. Taking old wrapping paper scrap Linda used tacky glue to create the front of the tag. Adding a point of interest to the blank tags she then used stamps from the Festive cube set with black archival ink.
Gluing down pieces of gold eyelash trim to the front of the tags and then placing domino images from Father Christmas by Calico Collage to cover the trim. You might want to look through your stash to see what bling you might have to further decorate the front of your tag.
Create a tag booklet by poking wax linen thread through all the tag holes, attach all the tags together. For a festive touch Linda added a tiny jingle bell to dangle for the top of the tags.
Tip: when you are trying to put string or fibers through tiny holes use a needle to thread through, it makes it an easy process.
What a great idea to re purpose wrapping paper to create new tags! What items will you re purpose to create your tags this year?
