Today I’m sharing an Enchanted Rose Junk Journal Page Tutorial with you. This was one of the pages I made for the Enchanted Rose Series and finally got around to editing the video! In this tutorial you will see how I use stencils to create backgrounds and stamps to create accents. I’ll show how to turn a digital page into a pocket page using an old book page.

Supplies used for the Enchanted Rose Junk Journal Page Tutorial

Creating backgrounds using stencils, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and using stamps to create accents to create a junk journal page using Enchanted Rose digital items.

Using the small rose stencil sprayed with tattered angels glimmer mist, added the postage stamp element and then stamped with black archival ink used the postmark collage and a postal cube stamps to make it look like a mailed envelope. These envelopes are great for putting writing elements inside and then tuck in a pocket in your journals!
Using a mini card file, added a few pages of Jr. Legal Notebook Paper to create a small element to journal on, embellished using the best glue ever with sequins, fabric scrap and an element from Enchanted Rose digital kit and the rose cluster rubber stamp.

Adding a sentiment, stamped with black archival using the enclosed advice stamp, it gives the envelope an added extra touch!

On the back side I decided to use an image from the kit and turn it into a pocket page. I look at the printed pages and look for a natural place where it could be cut or torn and made into a pocket. Of course, it could be left whole, but doesn’t it look cool as a pocket page?

Journaling cards created using the botanical cabbage rose stamp and elements from the enchanted rose digitals to tuck into the inside pocks of the journal page.

Sometimes a digital print gets wet and the ink runs. Since that happened to me I used it as an opportunity to add an embellishment to the mason jar. By the way, if you don’t want your ink jet pages to smear or run, try spraying them with Krylon Workable Fixatif. This spray works! Follow the instructions and you will be amazed how well this works!
