How to make a Cork Necklace, using Calico Collage Fairy Forest Domino digital images, Judikins Diamond glaze and a wine cork. Super great way to upcycle those wine corks and make fun fashionable jewelry.

If you are like me, you might collect wine corks. I have a whole jar of these. Why did I keep them? I thought they looked cool in the jar. Then the little jar got full and now I have a small box full of these.

It was time to make something with these and since I have been playing with the domino size images I thought these would be the perfect size! Guess what these fit great just need three of the images to go around the cork.

Here is what I found that works best. Print the sheet of images. Then cut the images in to rows. I trimmed off the left side and left part  of the white on the right side. Doing this I was able to glue each one to the next using that white part. Then I glued down the images on the cork.

I liked making these as now I can have something fun and whimsical to wear. Wouldn’t these be great for a fairy costume party? Make one for everyone to take home. Or even have a little make it session. Of course, you will have to consume some wine for the corks. Might be a good idea to have a wine party and then the Cork Necklace party on another day. lol
