The inspiration for making this Magnificent Junk Journal Page was from Liz Costin. Recently I was the swap coordinator for a page swap for Friendly Junk Journal People and I had the pleasure of looking at all of the pages before swapping. I loved what Liz did with her pages so I asked if I could make a tutorial with her pages. She agreed so here I am sharing. 😉
Here is a video showing how to make a Magnificent junk journal page.
Since we are doing page swaps in our group I decided to follow the size requirement that we set in the group for the pages. My page is 8 inches tall by 10.5 inches wide.
When I’m working in a journal it needs to have places to write. Isn’t that what most journals are about? Even though I may not like my handwriting I want to have plenty of room to record memories or notes. That is why this Magnificent Junk Journal Page has pockets to hold journal paper.
Every time I make a junk journal page I feel good about using the things I have in my stash. You can make trash into treasure with a little work.
Make sure to check out the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. Of course, you are welcome to join the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook group. The group is growing daily and we are a friendly group willing to help each other and encourage each other.
Interested in any of the journals I created? Please feel free to contact me through my Facebook Page.
Here is my shop, I have a lot of items uploaded and add more weekly.
My hope is that I have inspired you to look at those papers in your stash and make your own junk journal.
