I’m loving this Pink Song Bird Junk Journal I just completed. Using the Calico Collage digital kit Song Bird. This time when I used this digital kit I decided to use a lot of pink throughout the journal.

This Pink Song Bird Junk Journal measures 6 x 8.5 with 64 pages. Lots of journal cards and tuck spots throughout this junk journal.

For the cover of this Pink Song Bird Junk Journal, I used a pretty floral fabric with butterflies. I loved the pinks in the fabric and that is what made me choose to use pink inside the journal.

Using the iridescent glitter tule on the dragonfly junk journal was a hit so I decided to use it again on this Pink Song Bird Junk Journal.

The pages have been sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists through stencils that I made using my Cricut. I’m really enjoying making my own stencils. I can match the theme of the junk journal and it is an original design.

Another favorite tool in my studio is my sewing machine. I love adding the zigzag stitches to the pages and elements.

The lace elements in this Pink Song Bird Junk Journal were all colored with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Spraying the lace with the colors I love helps me use up the white lace in my stash. It also makes it easy to make more lace matching the colors I’m using.

Sewing strips of the fabric to the journal cards helped tie the elements together. When making the Journal Kits I made sure to add enough of the fabric that can be used on the elements that you might make.

When I’m making junk journals I really love being able to use my rubber stamps. It makes it easy to make pretty journal cards with a great select of stamps.

The journal kits have all the elements used in the Pink Song Bird Junk Journal. The sewn elements – pages and journal cards are done. But you get to choose where to attach the pocket, tuck spots and install the journal cards. You can even add more of your pages and elements.
