Sharing a design team project Day Dreaming Junk Journal, using Calico Collage Digital Journal Kit Day Dreaming. Also used my Mixed Media Frankenpages for the cover and insides that I made a few weeks ago. The journal measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches and has a soft cover made with watercolor paper and mixed media Frankenpages.
A flip through video showing the Day Dreaming Junk Journal.

The Day Dreaming Junk Journal has 16 pages that are tied together with bakers twine. I bound it together like this so that the owner can choose to add more pages if they like or make another journal with the pages and cover.
Making this journal was so much fun. I loved using the Mixed Media Frankenpages with the Calico Collage Digital Images. The bright colors make me very happy.
Adding the Tulip Dimensional Glitter Paint using the ScraPerfect No Clog Writing Cap to the Day Dreaming Junk Journal added the perfect amount of sparkle. The glitter paint also adds a little bit of texture.
The back sides of the Day Dreaming Journal pages were sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists with one of my stencils.
Adding touches of fabric to the pages gives this journal a little bit of a shabby chic look, don’t you think?
The tie on this Day Dreaming Junk Journal is a scrap of fabric that I got from my quilt guild a month ago.
Making this Day Dreaming Junk Journal was so enjoyable. I hope that you liked seeing what I created today.
