Preparing for the January Creative Prompts Event that will be a featured event in the Friendly Junk Journal People Group, Linda shows how to create an Altered Composition Notebook that will be used during the month of January.
For the cover of the composition notebook, Linda chose to use the Radiant Red digital download that is available in her shop. Keeping the journal relatively simple, she has added a few pockets and tuck spots that can be used for the upcoming Creative Prompts in January.
Remember, you will be receiving prompts throughout the month so try not to over embellish!
You can add whatever types of paper you want for your journal. Think bout book pages, digital download, it’s your journal so do what pleases you.
Remember, you will be asked to create something or use an element every day and write something per the Creative Prompt given, however, adding a pocket might be something you would want to add to a page.
Keeping the journal secure, try using ribbon to hold it all the pages together as you journal through the prompts that will be given during the Creative Prompts Event throughout January. You can bind the pages together to the cover when the month is done.
We hope you join us for the January Creative Prompt Events in the Friendly Junk Journal People Facebook Group, this will be a great way to craft and journal with a group!
