January 22nd’s prompt is to Create a journal page based on the word Memories. Write about a childhood memory.
Using the Dress Form Stencil, Rubber Stamps and a scrap of fabric, Linda create a page that fits her childhood memory.
After creating the background for today’s journal page, Linda used archival ink and stamped on her page using the Shabby Stitches, a doll stamp from the Toy Cube stamp set. She then took a Black on Ivory word “Memories” and adhered it with Aleene’s Tacky Glue over a piece of scrap fabric to give her page a theme. If Aleene’s Tacky Glue does not adhere your fabric, Linda recommends trying ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever, it will definitely work!
Adding an addition rubber stamp from the Sewing Cube stamp set, Linda kept to the theme of her prompt page. Using rubber stamps will add interest to your journal pages, try using a few that you have for your pages.
Taking her Sharpie pen, Linda wrote and then shared a childhood memory about sewing doll clothes.
What childhood memory did you write about?
