How to make Shaker Box Charm Pendants using Calico Collage Fanciful 1 inch digital images, Shaker box pendants and tiny glass diamonds. Super cute and easy to make!

When I found the Blank Slate pendants I knew these would be wonderful shaker box charm pendants. I purchased all they had at the store as these were on clearance and I didn’t want to miss out on having these in my stash.

Later I got a message from the owner of Calico Collage and she asked if I would do a tutorial on jewelry using her images. Things then clicked together and these are the pendants I made.

The little Shaker Box Charm Pendants are so easy to make!

Here is a video to show you How to make Shaker Box Charm Pendants:

Download the Calico Collage Fanciful 1 inch digital images and print. I sent mine to Staples to have them printed on a laser printer. These were printed on standard white paper and look beautiful.

Trim the sheet into rows of images so that it is easy to use the 3/4 inch square punch – on Amazon on the images you want in the pendants.

Inside the Hammered Bezel with Clear Acrylic Insert 33mm Hobby Lobby place a drop of Judikins Diamond Glaze – on Amazon then add the image on top. Push down so that the glue spreads out to the edges of the image.

Select items to put inside I used:
Blank Slate 3 mm Crystal Faceted Glass Stones – Hobby Lobby
Mini Silver Filigree Butterfly Charms – Hobby Lobby
Metallic Glass Microbead in gold – on Amazon

Once all the bits and bobs have been added inside place a drop of the Loctite super glue – on Amazon in each corner of the bezel. It doesn’t take much of this glue. I like that is a gel and doesn’t come out fast. I’ve also found that unlike other super glues this one doesn’t dry up in the bottle before you get to use all of the glue.

Place the acrylic insert on top. Since the loop at the top is from front to back you will want to add a jump ring or use small gauge cord and tie a knot for the necklace.
