This is a project that the Calico Collage Design team decided to create a Blog hop and make a Travelin Through Travelers Notebook Junk Journal to share on each YouTube channel.

Travelin Through Travelers Notebook Junk Journal
Beth Soler

Rosemary Roca
Lindsey Zenor
Carol Tinson

I created a playlist with all of the videos on my YouTube.

All six of us that participated use the same Calico Collage Digital Kit – Travelin Through in our journals. So when you visit each YouTube video you will get a different version of the same kit in a Travelers Notebook size.

The idea was that everyone could then see a big variety of how this kit could be made into a Junk Journal.

Here is the video for my Travelin Through Travelers Notebook Junk Journal

Making a Junk Journal can be as simple or as complicated as you decide. There isn’t a right or wrong way to make a junk journal. It is all about what you like and what you want to use. Just select some papers and fold in half, bind together and you have a journal. It can be very simple with out all the embellishments.  Some people prefer a blank journal as they want to add the stamping and embellishments. Others want the journal full of all kinds of cool things.

The Tag on the right was a scrap of paper that I stamped then sewed scraps of lace and fabric on top. The scraps of fabric came from my sewing group and these scraps were going to be trash! I have given these a new life.
